Nyali MP Mohamed Ali has praised 'good man' Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro after his arrest on Monday night following an altercation with nominated MP Maina Kamanda last Sunday.
Nyoro, a key member of the pro-Deputy President William Ruto ' Team Tanga Tanga' has been under immense pressure from his critics following his scuffle with Kamanda, the 'patron' of 'Team Kieleweke' in a Murang'a church.
After being on the run for almost two days, he was arrested on Monday night amid protests from his supporters and a section of politics.
However, while hailing Nyoro, Ali termed him a 'good man' even as he advised his National Assembly colleague not to be distracted by what people say about him on social media and instead focus on his agenda as a leader.
"You are a good man, I salute you. Forget the comments on social media and focus kabisa. Iko siku watakukumbuka na kukusifu ukiwa superstar. Usiogope, one step at a time. All the best," Ali said on his Facebook page, in a post that elicited mixed reactions.
Nyoro, who was later released on a police bond, has emerged as one of the most vocal MPs in Central region that is slowly becoming divided over the DP's 2022 presidential bid.
