Uasin Gishu Woman Representative Gladys Boss Shollei has dismissed photos circulating on social media showing her with another man.
Speaking to the press in Eldoret town on Friday Shollei said she will not respond to the issue of the photos which have since gone viral.
"I have recently been threatened with people I know with character assassination. The circulation of the photos showing me with a Caucasian man is a proof of the threats I received earlier," she said.
She recently got divorced after 26 years. She was married to Sam Shollei, the former Standard Group CEO.
Shollei reiterated that no human being can destroy her unless it's God's will and she will continue serving God while protecting and raising her children.
"No amount of smear campaign will deter me from serving the people of Uasin Gishu I will continue serving my electorates wholeheartedly."
Shollei further said never again will she address the matter but will remain true to the work she was elected to do.
