Controversial blogger Robert Alai has advised ANC candidate in the Kibra by-election Eliud Owalo to drop out of the race.
Taking to his Facebook account on Monday, Alai argued that if Owalo loses this election he will be branded a perennial loser, adding that he will not be taken seriously in future elections.
"The only loser in this Kibra race will be Eliud Owalo. He doesn't look like he is going to win the seat. After this, he will be branded a perennial loser and he might never have another chance to be taken seriously in a political contest," said Alai.
Alai stated that Owalo should declare support for either ODM candidate Inran Okoth or Jubilee candidate MacDonald Mariga in a bid to save himself from shame.
"He should pull a fast one and support Mariga or Imran. Mariga and Imran still have chances in the future even if they lose this," he said.
Owalo who is ODM leader Raila Odinga's former strategist resigned from the Orange party in August, before he declared interest in the Kibra parliamentary seat.
He stated that his political ideologies, believes, and convictions are no longer in line with those of the party.
On Sunday ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi's convoy was pelted with stones by youths at Kamukunji grounds. Mudavadi had gone to the constituency to woo residents to support Owalo in the upcoming polls.
