This comes amid rumours that he might not return to the club next season, after a not-so-impressive season with the former champions.

According to reports from the players, the coach thanked them after their semi-final match against Sofapaka, where they lost by a solitary goal.

The goal, from Elli Asieche, was enough to hand Sofapaka a 1-0 win and they will now face Kariobangi Sharks in the final.

This led to fans holding the entire playing unit hostage at the Moi Kasarani Stadium, and could only leave after the fans had left.

The fans camped outside the stadium after the final whistle and demanded that no one (including players and the technical bench) should use the team bus.

“We want them to walk home. They are a disgrace and don’t deserve to use this bus," one of the fans

Further reports indicate that the team management is keen on re-hiring Dennis Kitambi to coach the team, and work alongside Tom Juma.
