Milimani Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi adjourned the hearing to next week after one of the suspect’s lawyers failed to turn up in court.

“We are forced to adjourn this matter to February 26 when we shall proceed,” he said.

This comes just a month after the court ruled that the four suspects had a case to answer.

In its ruling, the Magistrate Court stated that the prosecution proved a prima-facie case against the suspects.

In the case, the four: Rashid Charles Mberesero, Mohamed Ali Abdikadir, Hassan Aden and Sahal Diriye are charged with 156 counts of terrorism relating to the April 2, 2015 attack at the Garissa University college.

The terror attack left 148 people dead and several others injured.
