Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen has already set 2019’s resolutions.
The maverick politician shared his New Year resolutions with his fans on his Facebook page.“Apart from my doctoral studies, I hope I can read 12 books and publish 3 Journal Articles. So help me God!” Murkomen said.
The Leader of Majority in the Senate revealed that he is doing a PhD. He holds a bachelors and masters in law.
Before joining politics, Murkomen was teaching law at Moi University’s Annex School of Law.
It seems he is also following in the steps of his party leader William Ruto who became a doctor after successfully finishing a PhD in Plant Ecology from the University of Nairobi.
He is now being referred to as Dr. William Ruto, PhD.
It will be interesting to see if the politician will stick to his resolutions as the debate on 2022 politics take centre stage in the country.
Murkomen is one of DP Ruto’s lieutenants who have been pushing for the former’s 2022 presidential bid.
