Mombasa Governor Hassan Ali Joho has joined Kenyans in morning the demise of Ahmed Mohammed Mwinyihaji.

Ahmed is the son to Mombasa County Senator, Mohammed Faki. 

Joho condoled with Faki on behalf of his family and the County Government of Mombasa.

“On behalf of my family my the County Government of Mombasa, I condole Senator Mohammed Faki and his family for the loss of his son Ahmed Mohammed Mwinyihaji. We pray to the Almighty to grant him Jannatul Firdaus and accept all his deeds. May the Almighty assuage your grief, grant you patience and strength to endure the sorrow. Inna Lillahi Waina Illeyhi Rajiuun,” Governor Joho said.

The comments that followed the Governor’s post showed how the senator’s son was loved. People expressed their sorrow and lauded him as a promising young man.

Kipachu Matano wrote, “Inna lillahi waina ileyhi rajuum, ni msiba wetu sote wana wa Mombasa. Allah ampe subra senator senator wetu na familia yake.”

Fama Ali said, “Inna lillahi waina ileyhi rajuum, Allah akupe kitabu chako kwa mkono wa kulia.

”Hemry Ruto replied, “May God comfort the family.”

“So sudden, May your soul rest in eternal peace,” wrote Ochieng Francis Omondi.

Ephraim Ndiritu replied, “Rest in peace, Faki Junior, as you used to call yourself, may your soul rest in peace.”
