A section of Kisii leaders has reacted following Deputy President William Ruto's intensified 2022 presidential campaigns.
The leaders led by Rachael Otundo said DP Ruto is busy traversing the country to woe votes while his opponents are sleeping.
"Ruto is doing rounds across the country to seek support from Kenyans in 2022 while his lazy opponents are quiet and in 2022 they will start claiming that election has been rigged," she noted.
She challenged DP Ruto's rivals to wake up and start laying down strategies to clinch the top seat in this country.
"Kenyans won't be incited to fight by desperate politicians who will lose in 2022. Let every presidential aspirant start traversing the country to root for development for the sake of getting support," she added.
A Jubilee elected MCA Daniel Apepo lauded DP Ruto's efforts to woo voters ahead of 2022.
"Ruto is serious with the presidency in 2022. I am happy that he is committed to take over from his boss Uhuru Kenyatta come 2022," said the MCA.
Mary Goima a nominated Jubilee MCA said DP Ruto's opponents should brace for a tough race in 2022.
This comes after DP Ruto camped in Vihiga County on the better part of Monday where he urged residents and leaders to walk with him, on his walk to State House.
