Makueni Woman Representative Rose Museo has drummed support on former Prime Minister Raila Odinga's call for a referendum.
Museo told Kenyans to take their time and understand the reasons given by the ODM chief on his call for the constitutional review before trashing the proposal.
“We as Kenyans are quick in talking without knowing what is behind the talk," Museo said.
She said Kenyans should wait and see what the proposed referendum entails and who will benefit from it.
Museo addressed the public at Tawa in Mbooni Sub-County on Thursday.
However, the county MP said she won't support the referendum if it will interfere with the county governments.
Museo said devolution is the best thing that ever happened to Kenyans.
She said devolution has led to development at the grassroot levels.
Museo was accompanied by former Kilome MP Regina Ndambuki, the current National Government Affirmative Action Fund (NGAAF-K) chairperson.
On her part, Ndambuki said Kilome residents benefited from the Jubilee government through the Last Miles Electricity project.
She said her people had "ripped big" due to her support to the government.
"The government gave us a road to tarmac and boreholes, my people have realy benefited from the government," Ndambuki said.
For the first time since elections , the former legislator said she didn't campaign agaisnt Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka in the last elections .
Further, Ndambuki revealed she knew she would not be re-elected on Jubilee party ticket.
The former MP said she will use her current position to work for all Kenyans.
