In what appears as early campaigns to save DP Rutto's 2022 presidential bid, Garissa MP Aden Duale has swung into action by demanding an immediate overhaul of all Jubilee party officials.
Amid widespread speculations that some party officials are out to block Rutto's bid, Duale and like-minded members including Moses Kuria are now advocating for the removal of dormant party officials in a move that is seen as preparations to clean up the way to the statehouse for the DP.
The new move is targeted at removing the controversial Mr David Murathe whi is the party's vice chair and Raphael Tuju, the Secretary General.
"President Uhuru's biggest agenda is to retire from party activities in the league of South Africa's ANC party. This can only be achieved by conducting a major overhaul of the current office bearers through elections," said Duale.
The current office bearers were randomly picked by President Uhuru and his deputy Rutto just before the last general elections.
