Shabana was eager to shine at their home turf in front of their fans, in what was Coach Gilbert Selebwa’s first home match at the dugout since his suspension on 16th January 2019 against Eldoret Youth FC for displaying indecent behavior.

In the early stages of the game, Shabana made their intentions clear by constantly causing threats to Stima’s backline, with Onyancha and Bob Mugalia particularly putting the visitors under pressure.

Hamisi Hadi fired Shabana in front with 13 minutes to the break, after showing great composure inside Stima’s box, giving the hosts a 1-0 lead going into the break.

However, Victor Omune scored in the second half to cancel out Shabana’s opener, after the visitors breached the hosts’ defense.

Shabana had some clear chances in the second half but failed to utilize them, with the midfield totally dismantled.

Speaking after the contest, Coach Gilbert Selebwa showed his disappointment for dropping two points despite facing a good team with experienced players.

Selebwa will be keen on the transfer window that is set to be opened next week and will seek to add more players.

Nairobi Stima’s coach George Owoko was happy with the point, nothing that Shabana is a good team especially when playing at home.

Shabana is 7th on the FKF National Super League with 27 points and will play Talanta FC next weekend at Camp Toyoyo.

Nairobi Stima FC is 3rd in the NSL log with 38 points, and are still unbeaten in the NSL.

Stima faces Eldoret Youth FC next at home.
