Special Crimes Prevention Unit (SCPU) detectives took him from Space Lounge on Ngong Road where he was doing his usual deejaying work.

He was found in possession of Steyr pistol and 174 rounds of ammunition.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) revealed on Thursday that DJ Moh is in their custody.

"Following Public outcry of a #DJ displaying a Firearm in public, @DCI_Kenya Detectives from #SCPU last night arrested Mr. Nicholas Mugo MWANGI at #SpaceLounge Club, Ngong Rd. A Steyr Pistol & 174 rounds of Ammunitions confiscated. He’s in our custody helping with investigations," said DCI Kenya.

The Spice Entertainment DJ was spotted with the gun during DJ Kym NickDee's birthday party which was held at K1 Club.

While partying, the DJ was captured on camera with a gun under his trouser.

The picture caused an uproar among fans who came out asking why the Dj was carrying a gun yet security in clubs is provided by bouncers.

His photo was first shared on Nairobi Gossip Club.

This is not the first time a celebrity is showing off his gun in public.

Not long ago, Willy Paul in a viral video threatened to pull out his gun.
