Lakeview area Chief in Naivasha Sub County Josephine Ndung’u has decried the rise of insecurity in upper Kayole and is now calling on locals to be vigilant.
Speaking over the weekend during a function at Kayole, the administrator revealed that there are cases of criminals tracking an individual’s movement with an aim to commit crimes in the area.
She cited Upper Kayole and Kinungi as the main area that has been affected so much with such cases warning that the security agents in the area will not spare anyone engaging in criminal activities.
“We have a challenge of insecurity in upper Kayole towards Kinungi and I call on locals to be vigilant” Ndung’u said.
The administrator also used the opportunity to urge members of the public to avail themselves for the Huduma Namba registration.
She warned parents against waiting for the last day of the exercise to register adding that the system will be slow due to traffic.
“We are also reminding members of the public to avail themselves for the NIMS registration. Do not wait for the last moment,” said the Chief.
On the issue of land conflicts in the larger Naivasha sub-county, the administrator revealed that the National government is in the process of holding public barazas where members of the public will raise their concerns for address.
According to the administrator, Cabinet Secretary Lands Ms Faridah Karoney will be in one of the meetings to be held in Naivasha this week.
