Sylvanus Osoro, the South Mugirango MP, accused Mr Caleb Simba, an ODM insider of allegedly killing his wife and dumping her body in a bathroom when the two exchanged over the presence of Chief Justice David Maraga at an event in Kisii last week.

Mr Simba accused Osoro of belittling the issue, adding that he had no moral authority to castigate senators under James Orengo who had raised issues about Maraga's conduct.

"You don't have morals to talk about the matter at hand. You're part of MPs who thrive on handouts and even take bribes in toilets. Nobody will take you serious," he said.

But in a quick rejoinder, Osoro accused Mr Simba of allegedly murdering his wife to offer sacrifices for self enrichment, a claim that he denied.

"You're the last person who should talk of morals. We haven't forgotten what you did to your wife. You have no humanity. Repent first before you lecture us," he fired back.

The Chief Justice was pictured in a roadside rally which was addressed by President Uhuru Kenyatta, ODM leader Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto on Wednesday last week.
