Nyamira Senator Okong'o Omogeni has doubted his rivals competence ahead of the 2022 polls.
The senator now claims that his rivals will have a hard task to send him home given that they are busy spreading propaganda about him.
"My rivals are dwelling so much on propaganda instead of focusing on strategies to woe the electorates ahead of 2022. I wish to confirm that they will have hard times to unseat me," he said.
Omogeni, while admitting the challenges in Nyamira County, said that he should not be blamed over the poor leadership in the county.
"I am still working to ensure the county leadership delivers to the people. Individuals claiming I am sleeping on the job are misleading only interested to get fame in the county's politics," said the opposition allied senator.
According the senator, Governor Nyagarama is the one who should be blamed over lack of development in the county.
"My work is only over sighting the county government expenditure. No money comes directly to me despite my efforts to ensure the county get enough funds from the national government," he added.
