Hotels are places where people turn out to take their food but it was a totally different scenario in one of the Langas hotels after two men fought over a Sh20 githeri.
According to Anne Chepkemei an eyewitness, the two started quarrelling at each other after one of them ordered for an Avocado.
Though not known exactly what happened after being served with an Avocado as one of them was only heard threatening the other one that he could pour at him githeri.
As the quarrelling heightened, one of the men made good his threats, 'jump-starting' the fight.
"I don't know them at all, it's their first time to come here. I only heard them quarrelling but I thought it was normal not until one of them poured the githeri leading to the fight," Grace Wairimu the hotel attendant said.
It only took the goodwills of the Samaritans to separate the two after one of them was left bleeding as the other one tried to escapes.
The injured who was later identified as John Onyango was admitted to a local health facility and later released after undergoing treatment.
