An aspirant for the 2019/2020 Treasurer seat at the University of Eldoret has exuded confidence in winning the forthcoming elections.
Ann Sharawe Amayo, the self-styled "Mama Pesa" is a third-year student pursuing project planning and management.
She is the outgoing Congress Lady in the School of Business says.
Sharawe opines that it's time for her to expand he leadership wings to all comrades and not just for those in the School of Business where she has been serving as the Congress Lady.
''I have been serving as the Congress Lady in the School of Business but that capacity was limited to serve all comrades as I intend,'' she remarks with optimism.
Speaking in a heated debate on Monday at the varsity's campaign station Sharawe laid down her manifesto.
''As a business student, I understand the post and I am determined to ensure there is equity ina bursary allocation to the needy students across the nation regardless of tribe and schedule of study,'' she pledged
Sharawe's motivation in student politics, she reveals, is inspired by Homa Bay Woman Representative Gladys Wanga.
'' My political role model is Homa Bay Women Rep, Gladys Wanga who has engineered the women Sacco in my county."
She further urges comrades to foster peace and unity during the electioneering period.
