North Mugirango MP Joash Nyamoko has lashed at Governor John Nyagarama accusing him of being insincere to the people of Nyamira.
Last week, the Senate PAC committee absolved Governor John Nyagarama of any misdoing, insisting that he's one of nearly perfect legislators.
"We have gone through records and for the first time, we have not detected any anomalies. The Auditor General also gave a clean bill. Nyamira is perfect," said Moses Kajwang.
For the past seven years, Nyagarama has been struggling to contain criticism with locals bashing him for maladministration and alleged nepotism.
And at Magombo on Sunday, Mr Nyamoko dismissed Nyagarama, labelling him a super conman, adding that nothing is about to change.
"I have worked with Nyagarama for the last four years. I was the speaker and I know the governor probably more than the current people working there.
"That old man is a super conman. I have never trusted him and I won't. He can deliver. He will take you cycles and in the end, nothing will be delivered," he said.
Currently, Nyagarama is at loggerheads with assembly Speaker Moffat Teya over the renewal of contracts for 500 ECDE teachers.
In a letter to the governor last week, Teya warned that the assembly will not vet names of Chief Officers who were nominated until the ECDE teachers crisis is solved.
Nominated MCA Innocent Mose however says none of the two can be impeached, adding that it's time they sit and handle the crisis.
"None of these people can be able to raise the required number of MCAs. It's time that they sat down and addressed these issues," he argued.
