"I just met this young man as I was parking somewhere in CBD. He looked hungry and very lonely, unlike 'normal' street family kids. I thought he was sick and needed some help and so I reached out to him. The boy is NOT sick."

"He is just among the several young people in this country that for some reason, find themselves in the street. As I spoke to him in Swahili, his HEAVY EKEGUSII accent betrayed him. I got pulled even more. So I switched to FM, he gave a SMILE OF THE YEAR. He was HOME," Osoro wrote on Facebook on Thursday.

The MP further revealed the boy hails from Rigoma area in Kitutu Masaba, Nyamira County.

The lawmaker said the boy needs to get back to school.

"To the fact that his father could be looking for him, we can't tell. He sleeps wherever darkness finds him, eats whatever he gets in bins and occasionally talks to whoever is ready to listen. We are having our meal now in some tao joint. PLEASE HELP ME REACH HIS FATHER/MOTHER as I host him kiasi," he added.
