Team Embrace proposed the expansion of the Executive to create the posts of the prime minister and two deputy prime ministers.

Cheruiyot, a close ally of Deputy President William Ruto, rubbished the proposal arguing it was aimed at creating employment opportunities for seasoned politicians.

"The Embrace women brigade shouldn't take Kenyans for fools. Ati Inclusivity in this republic means a mongrel of an expanded executive at the top? More jobs for the big boys and girls. Then what do we do to the millions of jobless youths?" he asked.

Reacting to the remarks, Mutua asked the Senator to present his proposals to the BBI instead of pouring cold water on what the women leaders came up with.

"Mhesh, I never saw you when the young Parliamentarians and the youth representatives were presenting their views to BBI yesterday. Embrace have done their bit today and those are their views. Go give yours it’s not a competition," the Women Rep tweeted on Thursday.

Mutua was part of Team Embrace that met BBI officials led by Garissa Senator Yusuf Haji at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC) in Nairobi.

Others were Governors Anne Mumbi Kamotho (Kirinyaga) Charity Ngilu (Kitui) and MPs Sabina Chege (Murang'a), Gladys Wanga (Homa Bay), Esther Passaris (Nairobi), Naisula Lesuuda (Samburu West) among others.

The group also proposed all posts in the national and county government with deputy position to be shared on a 50/50 gender basis.

"All public positions that have a Deputy role shall apply the Opposite Gender rule as law. No man will be deputised by a man and vice-versa," tweeted the Kirinyaga Governor.
