President Uhuru Kenyatta and his NASA key rival Raila Odinga have constituted their campaign teams ahead of the repeat presidential polls.

Notable in both camps is that the teams will be retaining most of those who served in the first round of campaigns.

They have however brought in a number of IT experts in what is seen as preparation for any IT related technicalities.

There is speculation that Raila will rope in Miguna Miguna to replace lawyer Willis Otieno following accusations that ODM agents were not properly procured in the first round when the latter was at the helm of the secretariat.

It is said Miguna and Raila held a successful meeting at the Capitol Hill offices on Thursday this week.

On their part, the Jubilee Party has changed tact making their national campaign lobby groups to take a back seat.

It is currently relying on its elected leaders to lead the campaigns in various counties.

Currently, Murang’a Governor Mwangi wa Iria has begun his own Taifa La Jubilee initiative which will be used as a campaign tool for the president.

“This initiative hits the ground from Monday and it is going to reinforce other infrastructure that Jubilee Party has put in place for this campaign. Taifa La Jubilee seeks to work with like-minded Jubilee leaders in areas where jubilee needs support,” he said as quoted by the Nation.
