In 2010, deputy president was campaigning against the new constitution, right?
Kenyans must wonder why Ruto, the person who opposed the constitution, is now asking people to follow it.
What is this good that he has seen in the new constitution?
In most occasions, for instance, during the anti-IEBC protests, Ruto told the opposition to follow the constitution to disband IEBC.
Ruto should be ironical in his utterances. In 2010, he asked Kenyans to vote against the new Constitution. He was even about to win but failed.
Ruto wants to become president of Kenya in 2022. Do we expect him to rule the country under the same constitution he opposed in 2010?
Deputy president has been in the forefront defending the constitution he opposed. He now has the mandate to ask the same people (opposition) who by then were campaigning for the new constitution to be passed to follow the constitution.
In fact, since Ruto joined Jubilee from ODM he completely changed.
He should come out clear and tell Kenyans why he was opposing the constitution but now he is telling others who supported it to follow.
Kenyans must weigh in people before voting them in as their leaders to rule the country, otherwise, Kenya is headed in the wrong direction politically.
