The woman, identified as Amina by the matatu touts, is said to have entered the small shopping outlet which allows for self-service.

"She came in while carrying her handbag only. I did not bother to stop her because most of our customers usually enter with small bags," the cashier who tills the goods at the entrance said.

She then proceeded to the shopping shelves where according to the security guards, picked a loaf of bread and sugar. The cashier said there was nothing suspicious about her behavior as everything seemed normal.

"I was walking around the shelves to monitor customers because that is what we always do since we do not have CCTV cameras. I did not see anything out of order," the security guard narrated to the small crowd that had gathered outside the shop.

After shopping a few commodities, the woman walked back to the cashier for tilling of the good. There was, however, something suspicious with her walking style according to the cashier.

After she had paid for the loaf of bread, 1kg of sugar among other small products and was walking out, a 5-liter bottle of cooking oil fell from her thighs just in front of the cashier and security guard.

"I noticed something weird with the way she was walking. She was not walking like that when she entered. But I was reluctant to ask because I did not want her to feel offended. Just when she was leaving the shop the bottle of cooking oil fell from her thighs. I could not even believe it," the cashier said.

The woman is apparently known by many in that area especially by the touts since she does the business of selling porridge.

Two female security guards and the female cashier took her to a private area where she was stripped to ensure she was not hiding any other product.

She was, later on, set free after a good Samaritan offered to pay for the cooking oil.
