Former Budalang'i MP Ababu Namwamba has taken a swipe at Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho over the perennial garbage problem in the Coastal county.Speaking during Jubilee's 'Mbele Iko Sawa' campaign in the county on Sunday, the former ODM stalwart who dumped NASA leader Raila Odinga for President Uhuru Kenyatta wondered how Mombasa county finances are being utilized in the betterment of the county."This Mombasa has serious problems especially Kongowea Market. On my way here, you can't separate the market with the dumpsite. When I look everywhere, there are serious problems. Where does the money in this Mombasa go? Should we have an outbreak of disease here, many lives will be lost,” said Namwamba.Governor Joho has always been taken to task over the garbage menace in the county with his critics using the issue to make fodder to score political points. While asking the residents to support President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election bid, Namwamba who served in the Cabinet during the grand coalition government said that Mombasa stands to benefit if they are part of the government, adding that the opposition has nothing to offer.
