Former Budalangi Member of Parliament Ababu Namwamba has dared the National Super Alliance (Nasa) to boycott the upcoming October 17 fresh presidential poll.Nasa has insisted that there will be no elections on October 17 if their demands are not addressed by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).Among the demands the opposition has raised is to have some IEBC secretariat officials led by IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba dismissed from office.Ababu who was defeated in the Budalangi parliamentary seat during the August 8 polls has warned if the Nasa presidential candidate Raila Odinga boycotts the election, Uhuru will be declared the president elect."NASA has no constitutional authority to determine election or no election. Stay away and Art. 138 will declare @UKenyatta elected unopposed!," wrote Ababu on his twitter handle, Wednesday.Ababu who was a loyal supporter of Raila defected from ODM to the Labour Party of Kenya and declared to support Kenyatta's re-election in the August polls.
