Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba together with other 9 ODM rebel MPs have been expelled from the Orange party following a disciplinary committee sitting.

Namwamba had quit his secretary general position in ODM citing frustration and later joined Julia Ojiambo's Labour Party of Kenya in what he termed as providing an avenue for the 'Third Force'.

Also shown the doors was Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya who decamped to newly formed Jubilee Party together with Deputy Governor Fatuma Achani.
