Budalangi former Member of Parliament Ababu Namwamba is currently holding a Jubilee meeting in Busia town.
The former parliamentarian who is the founder and head of “Mbele Iko Sawa”, a jubilee countrywide campaigning movement is meeting with all Jubilee leaders and campaigners from five constituencies in Busia County.
The meeting is part of Jubilee hunting votes plan for the incoming October 26 fresh presidential polls that is receiving many questions about its credibility.
Ababu is expected to address final jubilee campaigning strategies in the county among other agendas.
The meeting takes place amid tensions in the town after some unknown groups speculated to be NASA goons spread some notices and threats that they will disrupt any Jubilee meetings in the region at all cost.
The region believed to be NASA stronghold gave President Kenyatta more than 30,000 votes in just completed August 8 polls.
Speaking during the meeting Ababu has dismissed and ignored any threats to Jubilee activities in the region and has promised delegates that proper plans are underway to ensure President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto doesn’t vacate statehouse.
I am appealing to you to reach out to people in your areas to ensure they vote for Jubilee. We want to save this country from bad governance. I assure you that we are going to win this election by great number,” said Namwamba.
Ababu alongside other jubilee leaders said that more funds are going to be channeled to all areas to facilitate campaigns up to the grassroots.
