Former Budalang'i MP Ababu Namwamba has unleashed a blistering attack on NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga over his threat to boycott the repeat presidential election scheduled for October 26.Raila's team has listed some demands to the IEBC which it says have to be implemented before the poll, failure to which no election will take place.Speaking during a Jubilee rally in Mombasa on Sunday, Ababu, a former ally of Raila, accused his former party boss of tabling unrealistic demands, adding that not even the President has powers to stop elections from taking place."Who are you to prevent elections from happening? Not even the President has powers to stop election from taking place. We can't fear you,” said Namwamba during Jubilee's 'Mbele Iko Sawa' campaign rally. The former ODM secretary general said he is optimistic President Uhuru will defeat Raila in the rematch, arguing that Jubilee has made inroads in perceived NASA strongholds. Ababu said Raila should prepare to exit the political scene as he has no numbers to springboard his presidential ambition.
