ODM Party officials in Funyula have cautioned Budalang'i MP Ababu Namwamba against attacking NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga.
Led by Bwiri ward ODM coordinator Thomas Buluma, the officials observed that the former Prime Minister had nothing against Namwamba, calling on the outspoken legislator to concentrate on his reelection bid.
“We fail to comprehend why the Budalang’i legislator is going round talking ill of a person who has nothing against him, instead of campaigning for Jubilee and himself,” he said.
He further challenged the locals to rally behind the NASA candidate, arguing that the Luhya community stands to gain a lot from the outfit's leadership.
Namwamba fell out with Mr Odinga mid 2016, citing frustrations within the Orange party where he served as the Secretary General.
He has since joined the Labour Party of Kenya, where he is serving as the party leader.
