The exit of ODM deputy chairman Paul Otuoma and Secretary general Ababu Namwamba is expected to hurt the party’s normal functioning and its popularity.
According to Ibeno ward representative, Alfred Makori, the duo had a great influence and their exit will see most of the party members back off or lose trust with the party which has been troubled in the past few months.
Speaking at Ibeno center on Thursday morning the MCA called upon the party leader to quickly look for a long lasting solution to the rebellion that the party is facing more so from the Coast and Western regions.
“The party leader should not seat and think everything is normal when most of the party members are looking into getting out of the party,” he added.
Makori also added that it’s high time the party leader ensure that he holds his strongholds in hand for easy campaigns come 2017.
This comes barely few days after Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba alongside Paul Otuoma presented their resignation from the party under the grounds that they were not well appreciated by the party. despite holding key positions in the party.
