Bundalangi MP Ababu Namwwamba's Labour Party of Kenya has resolved to back the candidature of Funyula MP Paul Otuoma for the Busia gubernatorial race.

According to Ababu, Otuoma won the race but ODM handed the ticket to Ojaamong.

Speaking in Funyula on Monday, Ababu said that ODM should forget winning any vote in Busia county.

 “ODM should forget winning seats in Budalang’i, Funyula and Busia,” he said Ababu.

Otuoma last week resigned from the ODM party and opted to vie for the gubernatorial seat on an independent candidature.

Last week, Ababu alongside Otuoma ditched ODM citing frustrations but the Funyula lawmaker returned to the opposition party after holding talks with leader Raila Odinga.
