Raila had on Monday in Busia announced that the Budalangi MP concerned over being undermined were valid and said he plans to meet him on Wednesday to discuss his grievances.

However in an exclusive interview on Radio Maisha, Ababu has laid down conditions before meeting Raila for the discussion.

According to Ababu, ODM leaders should first accord him the respect he deserves because despite commanding a huge following among party supporters some leaders within the party still ignored him.

Secondly, the Budalangi lawmaker demanded a complete overhaul of the party since it was a mess and a proper housekeeping exercise should be done.

The MP further condemned those blaming him for missing out on Monday's homecoming rally for Busia Women Rep Florence Mutua.

"Some leaders are just obsessed with me skipping the Busia rally, while area Senator Amos Wako was not in attendance  but nobody noted that instead, the big issue is that Ababu missed. That is a clear indication that the party has bigger issues to discuss before I talk to Raila," said Ababu.
