Labour Party of Kenya leader and Budalang’i MP Ababu Namwamba has slammed the Jubilee administration for failing to deal with corruption.
Speaking Friday at the 64 Stadium in Eldoret , Ababu said it was so unfortunate that those involved in corruption deals were just left to walk away with their crimes without any action being taken against them.
“We know about people like Anne Waiguru and Josephine Kabura, who bragged how she can easily withdraw Sh60 million and play around with it like loose change. Why are they still free? They should be arrested,” he was quoted by the Daily Nation.
Ababu also insisted that the opposition had a big role to play in the fight against the vice as they controlled half of the 47 counties.
LPK secretary general, David Makali who had accompanied Ababu also criticised the lack of seriousness in the fight against graft.
“It is sad that money meant to uplift the lives of the young people can so easily be lost,” he said.
