Budalangi lawmaker Ababu Namwamba has maintained that he has no personal issues with Orange Democratic Party leader Raila Odinga even after ditching the party for the Labour Party of Kenya.
In an interview on KTN Friday,Ababu who once held the powerful Secretary General post in the Orange Party said that the move was a political decision maintaining that himself and Raila are still good friends.
''I left ODM but that does not mean that i left Raila,i still have a fantastic relationship with the former Premier and we have no personal grudges between us.Our friendship remains intact,'' said Namwamba.
Namwamba also said that he usually consults with the opposition chief whenever need be.''We occasionally talk and consult on different matters,'' he said.
Ababu left the party last year citing frustration, disrespect and lack of democracy.
The LPK leader accused the party top leadership of betrayal saying that Raila Odinga had promised to support him in his position but had sidelined him leaving him to be harassed by other leaders surrounding him(Raila).
He accused the leaders of seeking to oust him from the party by branding him a mole forcing him to seek an alternative political outfit.
