Funyula MP Paul Otuoma has dismissed claims of a fallout between him and his Budalang'i counterpart Ababu Namwamba saying they are still good friends.
The legislator who made a U-turn and returned to ODM months after 'leaving' the party says he is now ready to take any leadership position in the party.
Otuoma who together with Ababu led a party rebellion in the former Western Province maintained that he is a strong member of ODM and that at no time did he leave the Raila-led political outfit.
"I have been meeting county delegates since I resigned and I am now ready to take up any party responsibility whenever need arises," Otuoma told The Standard.
On his rumored fallout with Ababu, the party's former Vice Chairman refuted claims that he is not seeing eye to eye with the Labour Party of Kenya leader and that the fact they are in different political parties does not mean they are enemies.
Dr Otuoma who is eyeing the Busia County gubernatorial position says he is ready to battle it out with the incumbent Sospeter Ojaamong who he accuses of not doing enough to consolidate the party's support in Teso region where the Governor hails from.
