Namwamba said Duale does not swim in the same political waters with him, and his yet to be launched “third force” was none of Duale’s business.

“It’s not in the business of Aden Duale to where I am headed, Aden Duale and I do not swim in the same political waters,” the former ODM Secretary General said on NTV, Wednesday night.

Duale had asked where Namwamba's "third force" was, and questioned its agenda.

He said he was charting a new political course that will change the face of Kenyan politics.

Namwamba also maintained that he was not headed to the Jubilee party.

The MP has for a long time been accused of being a Jubilee mole, while he was still in the Raila Odinga- led Orange party.

“I’m certainly, absolutely, not headed to Jubilee,” he said.

Namwamba said his “Mulembe consciousness” movement is about community pride and is aimed at awakening the people of Western Kenya to rise politically and determine their destiny.

He dismissed claims that his yet to be launched party is a tribal outfit.

Cord Flag-Bearer?

On who should be Cord’s presidential flag-bearer come 2017, Namwamba said he hopes Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula clinches the Cord ticket to face President Uhuru Kenyatta in the polls.

“I do believe Musalia (Mudavadi) and Wetangula are perfectly within their rights to seek the presidency, in fact I would wish Wetangula all the best and I hope he clinches the Cord ticket,” he said.

The remarks clearly indicate he favours Wetangula over his former party leader Raila, who he has not been in good terms with since he expressed frustration as the secretary general of ODM.
