Namwamba who broke ranks with ODM, the party he was associated with for nearly a decade said that the former Prime Minister is not sincere in the war against the runaway corruption in the country.

According to the lawmaker, the Cord leader should desist from applying double standards in graft war.

The legislator said that corruption should be condemned everywhere since it occurs in counties or at the national government.

He added that Raila's constant attacks of the national government over corruption allegations and defending counties where corruption incidences have also be reported is suspicious.

This comes barely a day after the Cord leader defended Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi whose county has been on the spotlight in the past two weeks for alleged loss of Sh51 million.

Ababu added that Raila's practice of 'hiding' corrupt ODM governors is not the right way to fight corruption.

Raila has in the past been an anti-corruption crusader, exposing all alleged corrupt deals in the government.

However, his alleged protection of corrupt ODM governors may as well expose his commitment in the fight against the vice.
