The Jubilee Party seems to be making inroads in Kilifi county after a section of the Abagusii community living in Malindi constituency switched loyalty to the ruling coalition. The community spokesman Richard Otara said the decision was informed with the change of tune in Kisii county after Ford People Party aligned itself with the newly formed Jubilee Party. "Our community from home county has joined Jubilee and we have decided as Abagusii living in Malindi we will not to be left behind," stated Otara. He termed the ruling coalition as the only party with an agenda to develop all regions and unite Kenyans. "Jubilee is the only party with a national outlook and it is the only side that can unite this country. It is a development-oriented administration that is already implementing many projects to benefit our region and its people," he said. The move comes a week after Deputy President toured the region where he inspected ongoing national government projects and distributed more than 1,000 title deeds to Kilifi County residents.
