Uasin Gishu County Commissioner Hassan Abdi has declared war on the second generation liquor.
He said, the sale and consumption of illegal liquor has increased in the county.
"I have credible information from my officers that some people have gone back to selling and taking illegal liquor despite its ban and I won't tolerate that," he said.
Speaking to journalists in Eldoret town on Monday, Abdi said those involved in the businesses will face the full force of the law.
"I urge Uasin Gishu County residents to supply us with information of those involved in this scrupulous business, we promise to take action," he said.
He however gave a stern warning to chiefs and their assistants who collude with brewers, saying they will be sacked.
"We have information that there are some chiefs and their assistants who supply information to brewers on our planned raids after being given a few coins," he said.
