Former presidential candidate Abduba Dida has exuded confidence that he will win the presidency in the forthcoming August polls.
Speaking on Monday,
Dida observed that he is the only presidential candidate who has a deeper understanding of the sufferings Kenyans are facing, adding that this places him at a pole position of unseating President Uhuru Kenyatta, the Star reported.
"All other presidential candidates do not understand the problems we face like I do. I will use this understanding to restore sanity in our society," he said on Monday.
Dida is set to vie for the presidency on a Tunza Coalition, which he said he will be launching soon.
The former high school teacher unsuccessfully vied for the same position in the 2013 general election, where he lost to President Uhuru.
He garnered just 52,848 votes of the votes cast in the presidential contest.
