NASA supporters have now been urged to accept the outcome of the Supreme Court that upheld the reelection of President Uhuru Kenyatta and move on just like how jubilee did in the past.
According to Tabaka ward MCA Daniel Apepo, the Jubilee team accepted the nullification of the presidential election and its now NASA’s turn to accept that Kenya needs to move on despite political difference.
“This time rounds it’s our time as Jubilee to celebrate the Chief Justice David] Maraga's ruling and we believe it’s not biased because NASA leader also won in the last time and he didn’t challenge his reelection,” said Apepo
The MCA, however, said the current political protests that are being witnessed in NASA strongholds will fizzle out in the next few weeks and once President Uhuru take over power he will be able to unite Kenyans.
President Uhuru is now expected to be sworn in in a week's time after the Supreme Court validated his win while Odinga on his side has insisted he won't recognize Uhuru Kenyatta as the president of the republic.
