Gladys Kamuren who is contesting Nakuru Woman Rep seat on Chama cha Mashinani Party says the country is greater than an individual.
“As we go on with campaigns, let us maintain peace and my appeal to the ruling coalition Jubilee as well as Nasa is to respect the outcome of August polls. Kenya is greater than anyone” she said.
While calling on media to play its role of ensuring peace in society, she said media is key in ensuring cohesion.
“My appeal to the media and especially the radio stations is to ensure we use the space we have to spearhead peace agenda before, during and after elections. We don’t want to tear apart this nation,” she said.
