Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula has accused political partners within the Cord coalition for treating him unfairly.
Wetangula took to his official twitter page, where he accused some members of the Cord coalition who feel threatend by his presidential candidature for spreading lies about him in the media.
"The endless media bites against me by a partner party in cord are self defeating and unhelpful. We founded cord. There are no invitees!!", he tweeted.
The Senate minority leader also urged his fellow Cord principals Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka to accept competition as a way of promoting democracy and not enemity within the opposition.
”There are those in cord who think that bastardising fellow leaders will give them advantage. Far from it.It doesn't help to brand Weta or any other leader a mole or rocking cord because he said something uncomfortable to you. Unity isn't uniform!", he added.
