Deputy president William Ruto has been urged to accept the constitution to be amended, West Mugirango MP Vincent Kemosi has said.
The Ford Kenya MP said Ruto should know he will not change people’s minds.
“It is clear that we should go for a referendum to change the constitution and create more posts to accommodate more people into the government.
"I am advising my friend William Ruto to accept the move and join NASA leader Raila Odinga to have the constitution amended,” he said.
Kemosi said Ruto will be dumped by Uhuru if he will not accept the changes to be made.
“President Uhuru Kenyatta is retired in 2022. Ruto should push for the constitutional changes in case Uhuru dumps him in 2022 he will be easily accommodated into the government,” he said.
The NASA affiliated MP said the country cannot afford experiencing political chaos every term when elections.
