Led by  Uasin Gishu Deputy Governor Daniel Chemno, the leaders said that NASA coalition should be engaged in talks to give their grievances on national development and nation building.

"We request president Uhuru to accept dialogue with opposition leaders but the talks should be regarding national development," he said.

Chemno said Uhuru is now the country's president and should be recognized as he has been sworn in according to the constitution.

He requested the opposition to acknowledge that elections ended long ago, thus they must be ready to engage in talks of development not politics.

"We want to tell the opposition that the court that nullified elections is the same court that upheld Uhuru's win, so they should know that elections are over," chemno said.

Kesses MP Swarup Mishra on his part called on opposition leader, Raila Odinga to accept president Kenyatta's victory and join him in uniting people of Kenya for the betterment of this country.

"Politics is over. I humbly request opposition leader, Raila Odinga to leave a legacy in this country by uniting people. He should not worry because opposition is in fact part of government," Mishra said.

The leaders were speaking in Cheptiret, Kesses constituency, Uasin Gishu county.
