Nakuru County Governor Lee Kinyanjui has called on politicians to end the political stalemate in the country.
To achieve this, Kinyanjui said NASA leader Raila Odinga and his supporters should accept the outcome of the repeat presidential election conducted last week.
Raila, who boycotted the poll, denounced President Uhuru Kenyatta's reelection, calling for civil disobedience.
He maintains that a new election must be held within 90 days.
"Let us now move as one and build this country," the Governor told the Opposition leader.
Speaking to the press in Nakuru Town on Wednesday, Kinyanjui also noted that working together with the national government was key to the effective delivery of devolved services.
"My administration will work hand-in-hand with Jubilee government to ensure Nakuru residents get access to crucial services," he added.
