The National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate Raila Odinga has been accused of trying to ascend to power through the back door.
Nandi governor Stephen Sang claims Odinga is using protests against IEBC officials to sabotage the country's economy and make it ungovernable for him get power.
Speaking at Cheptiret, Chemusei constituency on Saturday, Sang criticised the demonstrations which he termed as acts of terrorism.
"Raila and NASA should know that we cannot allow them to unleash goons and thugs to innocent Kenyans in the name of seeking election reforms," noted the youthful governor.
"How is harassing motorists and invading supermarkets going to bring reforms at the IEBC?" he asked.
The Jubilee governor said the only way for Raila Odinga to ascend to power is through the ballot.
"The current constitution that Raila championed for clearly stipulates how one can be into a leadership position and anything short of that is unacceptable," noted the Nandi governor.
"At this point he (Raila) should accept the fact that fate has befell on him and that he can never be the President of Kenya," he added.
