Principal Secretary Ministry of Labour Social Services and East Africa Affairs, Susan Mochache has urged women, aged and the vulnerable to acquired Identifications Cards for easy access to government services.
Speaking at Kisii cultural hall on Thursday during the sensitization programme of women, she said ID cards were fundamental in provision of services by the government.
"I want to urge you to apply for National Identification cards. Their are some services you cannot get from government if you fail to present such a vital document," she said.
"We want you to grow social-economically and that is why the document is essential. Tell your colleagues so that we grow together," added Mochache.
Mochache also urged women to register as voters in numbers to increase their bargaining power in future elections.
