A number of activists drawn from Kisii County have vowed to hold demonstrations and move to court at the same time if by any case the MCAs table a motion to impeach the current assembly speaker David Kombo.
Led Regional Human Rights Watchdog Chairperson Thomson Osoro the activists accused of the MCAs of greed and said they are much aware that they are in a mission to swindle funds from the County speaker.
Speaking during a press conference in Kisii on Monday the activists said they are ready to defend the embattled speaker who is currently outside the country and said they will hold demonstrations to put off the alleged greed MCAs.
"I know the MCAs just want to swindle money from Kombo and that's why they are threatening to sue him but let me won them that we are ready to hold demonstrations against the move at the same time we are ready to face them in court" said Osoro.
He dared the 45 MCAs led by Sensi ward MCA Paul Angwenyi who have already shown interest to impeach Kombo to speed up the matter as they are ready to face them.
Their sentiments come at a time the MCAs preparing the impeachment motion have accused the speaker of being corrupt and misusing the County funds.
