National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale confirmed that ADC and Dekaburey residents in Garissa County will soon get boreholes to end water shortages.
Speaking on a local Somali radio station (Iftin fm) early Tuesday morning, Duale said that they will soon start digging boreholes for areas affected by water shortages in Garissa County to help residents enjoy life like other Kenyans.
"We are planning to end water crisis in Garissa County, and we will start digging boreholes for areas affected greatly by the water shortages. We want residents to enjoy life like Kenyans living in the other parts of the country," said Duale.
Duale added that since ADC and Dekaburey are the most affected areas in the whole county, they will be given the first priority and the other areas will follow in order to help locals, who have been travelling long distances in search for water daily.
"Locals in ADC and Dekaburey will have the first priorities in the plan for digging boreholes as they are the most affected areas in Garissa County," added Duale.
